30 van Zandvoort, Omloop van Zandvoort en de Zandvoort Circuit Run gaan niet door

Wij willen je informeren over ons besluit om de 30 van Zandvoort, Omloop van Zandvoort en Zandvoort Circuit Run, die gepland stonden op zaterdag 28 en zondag 29 maart, niet door te laten gaan. Dit naar aanleiding van de maatregel die het kabinet heeft genomen om alle evenementen met meer dan 100 personen t/m 31 maart af te gelasten. Tot het allerlaatste moment wilden wij de evenementen organiseren, maar de veiligheid en gezondheid van de deelnemers, vrijwilligers, toeschouwers en andere betrokkenen staat altijd voorop.

In overleg met betrokken partners hebben wij helaas moeten vaststellen dat er dit jaar voor het weekend geen passend alternatief beschikbaar is. Een grote teleurstelling voor iedereen. Met alle vernieuwingen rondom het Formule 1 circuit keken wij met veel enthousiasme uit naar dit sportieve weekend. Zandvoort en het circuit blijven op ons wachten. Volgend jaar vinden de evenementen plaats op zaterdag 27 en zondag 28 maart 2021.

Op dit moment beraden wij ons verder op de vraag hoe om te gaan met deze situatie. Zodra wij hier meer over kunnen delen, zullen wij betrokkenen informeren. Wij vragen om jouw begrip in deze.

We would like to inform you about our decision to cancel the 30 van Zandvoort, Omloop van Zandvoort and Zandvoort Circuit Run which were planned on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 March. This in response to the measure taken by the cabinet of the Netherlands to cancel all events with more than 100 people involved until 31 March. We attempted to organize the events until the very last minute, but the safety and health of the participants, volunteers, spectators and other parties involved is most important to us.

In consultation with the partners involved, we unfortunately had to conclude that there is no suitable alternative weekend available. A big disappointment for everyone. With all the innovations around the Formula 1 circuit we were looking forward to this sportive weekend. Zandvoort and the circuit will be waiting for us, next year the events will take place on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 March 2021.

We are currently considering how to cope with this situation. As soon as we can share more about this, we will inform those involved. We ask for your understanding and patience in this.
