Liege-Bastogne-Liege
2007
All famous hills

Saturday
11th August

In this classic with a length of 235 km practically all famous slopes are included which are also covered by the professionals. In addition it is also possible to ride routes of 130 or 170 km. These distances are particularly suited for the somewhat less trained cyclists who still would like to taste the atmosphere of La Doyenne, as the oldest Belgian road classic is also called.

Although the most difficult part of both the 170 and the 235 km is situated in the last 80 km, with the above mentioned slopes, one cannot say that this tour has a 'flat' start. In fact the first part should not be underestimated! The 130 km route joins the other distances right before the Rosier.

Just as in previous years hotel Holiday Inn in Liege will be the start and finish place of this road classic. Before and after the tour hundreds of participants will stay here overnight, which means a pleasant 'classic' atmosphere amongst all these cycle tourists.

It is also possible to stay in the Hotel van der Valk in Maastricht, a cyclists friendly hotel which is only 15 minutes from the start by car.
